Recycled Water Reticulation

The Victorian Government amended new housing estate regulations to mandate the reticulation of Recycled Water into new housing estates commencing July 2005.

This initiative provides affected home owners to utilise cheaper recycled water in toilets, laundry and gardens as well as saving high-quality potable water for drinking.

Solar Panel and Home Battery Subsidies

The Victorian Govt has current subsidies available for Victorian home owners to install solar rooftop panels and for owners to install a home battery in their house.

Victorian Gas Substitution Roadmap

The Victorian Government has regulated to disincentivise the use of Gas in the residential sector including restricting new Gas connections to new homes which require a permit.

Additionally from January 1, 2025 the Victorian Government has mandated that the full-cost of a new Gas connection shall be borne by the beneficial customer instead of that cost being shared by all customers.

Electrification Subsidies

The Victorian Government has updated a raft of new Electrification Subsidies to assist eligible home owners migrate legacy gas fired equipment over to new equivalent electric appliances.
